Essential Job Functions * Performs production MIG welding following standardized work processes and quality procedures. * Make minor repairs/adjustments to MIG welding equipment. * Complete tasks requiring continuous and repetitive movement. * Weld metal parts together using MIG welding. * Apply welds per specifications to produce completed product. * Monitors the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material. * Make every effort to increase efficiency without compromising quality. * Sharp attention to detail in favor of identifying defects. * Move raw material, scrap or finished goods with lifting equipment. * Flexible with overtime and weekends as required. Education & Experience * High School diploma or GED preferred. Qualifications * 1+ years of MIG/Tack welding experience. * Must be able to speak, read and understand English * Experience with basic fabrication hand tools and equipment. * Basic math, reading, and writing skills. * Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. * Excellent attendance. Physical Demands * Ability to lift up to 30 LBS, lift twist, grab, stand (up to 8 to 10 hours), walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations |
