We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Air Quality Team Leader to drive the growth, diversification, and operational excellence of our Air Quality Practice. This high-impact leadership role is central to Weston's overall growth strategy, focused on expanding our market presence and delivering innovative solutions to clients across the private and public sectors. The ideal candidate will lead high-performing teams, foster long-term client relationships, and position Weston as a trusted partner in the evolving air quality landscape.

Expected Outcomes:
Business Development & Strategic Growth
  • Lead the market strategy for the air quality practice, driving sales and diversification across the private and public sector clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and teaming relationships nationwide.
  • Develop winning proposals and presentations, securing high-value contracts and programs.
  • Represent Weston at key conferences, associations, and client meetings to elevate brand and thought leadership.
  • Track and respond to emerging air quality regulations, trends, and funding landscapes.
Operational Leadership & Project Delivery
  • Partner with operations leadership to deliver high-quality, profitable air quality solutions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of delivery excellence.
  • Oversee financial performance, resource allocation, and risk management for projects nationwide.
Practice and Team Development
  • Drive the growth and innovation of Weston's air quality service offerings.
  • Mentor and develop a team of project managers, seller/doers, and subject matter experts.
  • Play a key role in recruitment, team scaling, and retention of top talent.
  • Align practice goals and performance metrics with corporate strategy.
Client Engagement & Industry Leadership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients across various sectors, including manufacturing, energy, transportation, biopharmaceuticals, technology, legal services, and finance.
  • Translate complex technical air quality and regulatory issues into actionable solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Planning, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in air quality consulting, permitting, and compliance, with leadership responsibilities.
  • Successful history of sales, team development, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong experience in permitting, dispersion modeling, emissions testing and other related air quality services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and proposal writing skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory agencies and permitting authorities at the federal and state levels.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.

Salary Range: $138,273-$183,270-$228,370
