Position: Logistics and billing Coordinator - Aviation
Location: Torrance, CA - Hybrid
Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Employment: Non-Exempt, Direct-Hire, Full-Time
A global trading company is seeking a Logistics and billing Coordinator in Torrance, CA. This position focus on Aviation parts billing and logistics coordination, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating client parts repairs. The ideal candidate should possess an associate degree and demonstrate exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:
Process invoices and calculate freight costs accurately using internal systems.
Coordinate logistics operations in collaboration with the Sales team to ensure timely deliveries.
Review and validate invoice data for accuracy and completeness.
Build and maintain strong business relationships with suppliers and customers.
Generate and provide billing reports to the Accounting Department to support monthly financial closing.
Learn and understand product and technical knowledge, including CMM and IPC standards.
Respond promptly to billing-related inquiries via email, ensuring professional and clear communication.
Manage assigned tasks efficiently and meet deadlines through effective time management.
Adhere to export compliance regulations and internal company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support departmental goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of one year of clerical or administrative experience.
Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Associate Degree or higher educational attainment.
Prior experience in the aviation industry is highly desirable.
Japanese bilingual ability and cultural understanding are a strong plus.
