Research Intern

The Department of Radiology is looking for a research intern to work in the Radiology Departmentassisting Dr. Eric Hoffman as well as Seyed Soheil Hosseiniwith research.

Through user interaction and software development, research intern will help with these projects:

1. Extension of the CT-based pulmonary arterial and venous tree segmentations into the lung periphery using the 3DSlicer software to create more complete vascular trees, beyond the current segmentations;

2.Modification, adaptation, and testing the PYTHON code used to analyz4e the pulmonary arterial trees to now analyze the pulmonary venous trees; and

3. Help with the assessment of 800 dual energy CT scans of subject studied under "MESA" by helping to correct the automatic segmentations using the 3DSlicer software.
