Are you friendly, reliable, and love creating great guest experiences? Join our team as a Gift Shop Attendant in Avery Island! We're looking for a dedicated individual to work weekends and help provide a warm, welcoming environment for visitors from all over. Schedule: 8:30am - 5:00pm, weekends Pay: $10/hr. What You'll Do: Open the gift shop and prepare both the interior and exterior for guests by 9:00 AM Greet and assist visitors with friendly, knowledgeable service Operate the cash register and complete merchandise transactions accurately Keep shelves lightly stocked and organized Maintain inventory records and assist with stock checks Answer phone calls and provide helpful, courteous information Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and inviting at all times Share basic knowledge of gift shop to enhance the visitor experience Work independently and communicate effectively with the team Qualified candidates will have 1-2 years of retail experience and customer service experience.
