Director of Sales, RPC NA

This Sales Leader position is responsible for coordinating all commercial activities for targeted Market and Customer Segments as defined by the VP of Sales and Marketing. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, RPC NA, this sales leader position will be responsible for managing a team of direct reports in our field sales organization assigned to these markets and customers.

What you'll be doing:

  • Participate and contribute to regular divisional leadership meetings
  • Aid in developing and defining the growth and optimization strategy for RPC NA
  • Effectively communicates with team of direct reports the leadership direction and strategic objectives of the business
  • Change management leader supporting the reshaping of our strategic organization and growth targets
  • Report out on volume forecasts, resource needs and critical business issues and opportunities within defined opportunities
  • Achieve alignment on strategic and tactical objectives with other functional areas including operations, finance, quality, technology, and engineering
  • Define a strategic plan for the segments and direct all sales and marketing activities in support of these strategic objectives
  • Full responsibility for the sales volumes and profits within assigned territory
  • Set and mange to clear objectives to retain key accounts, grow market share and improve profitability
  • Manage day-to-day activities of the Fields Sales team of direct reports
  • Utilize defined KPI's to to manage direct reports to a set of defined objectives and priorities
  • Coach and develop talent for improved performance and career growth potential
  • Responsible for effective communications and linkage across all functional business groups assure achievement of account strategies
  • Responsible for leading and setting goals for the respective team members
  • Responsibility for assuring customer satisfaction and account retention
  • Establish price benchmark guidelines and pricing strategies to drive account growth and profitability
  • Responsible for development of quantifiable and sustainable competitive advantage within the defined opportunities through value proposition development work
  • Travel as necessary to participate in key internal and customer engagements
  • Spend time observing, assisting and coaching sales team
  • Participate in key new business pursuits and key negotiations as the needs of the business warrants to ensure positive outcomes
  • Support and track progress on working capital initiatives to deliver on DSO and cash flow improvement objectives
  • Recommend coaching and training opportunities for direct reports
  • Recruit and hire talent to team as needed
  • Product knowledge and service offering expert to aid in directing team to the appropriate solution

This position location is flexible.

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • A 4-year college degree is required
  • Must have 10years industry experience and a minimum of 5 years commercial selling/marketing experience
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop/quantify value are required
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • A proactive, action oriented individual with strong organizational skills
  • Must have good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Compensation:

The annual base salary range for this role is from $177,120 to $199,260 plus an annual target bonus of 25% of base salary.
