Genesis10 is currently seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer IV for a 6 month contract position in the retail industry with our client in Minneapolis, MN. This role is 90% remote - consultant needs to be flexible to come onsite once every month. Project Description: Strategic Priorities Acceleration - Solutions Enablement team We are a "special projects" team positioned within the DAT Platforms space to allow us to accelerate critical work as identified by departmental leadership. Beyond our general remit to accelerate critical work in the platform space, there is a special focus right now on cost optimization within our AWS estate. Job Description: In this Cloud Infrastructure Engineer role you will work across teams in consultation with the principal engineer and our platform product partners to develop and deliver platform features and optimizations with a special focus towards the AWS estate. Often taking full ownership of a solution you will take projects from conception to final handoff. Required Skills: Cloud Platform Infrastructure Engineering (3+ Years) AWS Administration (2+ Years) Cloud Cost Optimization (1+ Year) Infrastructure-as-Code ( "IAC," e.g. Terraform) (2+ Years) Desired/Preferred Skills: Terraform Modularized Terraform Development Deployment Pipelines (esp. GitHub Actions) Enterprise Datacenter Administration Cloud Migrations EC2 Infrastructure Container Infrastructure Database Infrastructure Cloud Networking Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $65.00 to $72.00/Hr We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
