The goal of the MJHS Institute for Innovation in Palliative Care is to promote access to evidence-based, specialist-level palliative care for patients and families coping with serious or advanced illness, whenever and wherever palliative care is needed across the continuum of health care. The MJHS Institute for Innovation in Palliative Care pursues this goal through an array of on-site and web-based educational programs and thorough research that focuses on the needs of populations with serious illness. The primary purpose of the position is to supervise activities and resources required in the conduct of research studies, in compliance with federal, state, and institutional guidelines; to oversee scheduling of study procedures, data collection and data entry in RedCap or other electronic database; to train study personnel; to facilitate the development and implementation of workflow; to contribute to dissemination of research findings; and to support investigators, biostatisticians and external collaborators on clinical studies. The position reports to the Director of Clinical Research and Analytics of the MJHS Institute.
