SUMMARY

The Lead Job Coach supports individuals with minimal work experience by providing on-the-job training, helping them develop skills needed to succeed in competitive work environments. This full-time role includes a flexible schedule and assisting with school-year classes under the program coordinator's guidance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Provide individualized on-site job coaching to meet vocational goals.
  • Support participants in learning job roles and communication using natural supports.
  • Observe, document, and report participant behaviors and progress.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to employer standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication between participants, employers, and team members.
  • Complete and assist with vocational assessments.
  • Promote economic self-sufficiency through increased earnings and work hours.
  • Identify job matches based on participant strengths and preferences.
  • Maintain participant safety and compliance with job site policies.
  • Act as liaison between employer and participant; evaluate performance and offer recommendations.
  • Follow agency policies, emergency procedures, and training requirements.
  • Operate vehicles safely for work-related duties.


QUALIFICATIONS



  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3-6 months of relevant experience or training.
  • Driver's License


SCHEDULE



  • 35 hours flex (FT)
