Job Description



Plans and implements the strategic view of business objectives and the relationship to assigned Service Line projects. Prioritizes projects, enforces processes, and contributes to decisions regarding program and project direction. Engages with key stakeholders and clients in the resolution of complex issues.

Job Responsibility







  • Provides leadership to IT&S Project Management team members and supervisors by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives.
  • Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with system.
  • Ensures project milestones and budgetary constraints are maintained.
  • Manages cross-functional team engagement and alignment as it pertains to requirements, scope and project delivery.
  • Works with IT teams, vendors and customers to develop project proposals outlining deliverables, requirements, risks, assumptions, key stakeholders, roles and responsibilities and budgets.
  • Collaborates with the leadership to build and manage program management function in support of projects; assists in defining and developing departmental wide program management practices, governance standards, processes and metrics.
  • Reviews high level deliverables across assigned Service Line projects and reports to the leadership on projects' status; carries out quality assurance procedures in accordance with established methodology and ensure successful project execution.
  • Escalates risk issues to the leadership when project scope requires intervention; assists in evaluation, re-prioritization and re-design of project plans and objectives as necessary.
  • Contributes to Portfolio Management and Planning for assigned areas; collaborates with administrative leaders to create, enhance and deliver improved project management processes and practice.
  • Trains assigned staff in appropriate processes and documentation standards; manages resources including operating budget, supplies, equipment, space, staff, and information.
  • Leads and guides assigned staff to ensure they are correctly performing their responsibilities and providing the support expected by their assigned Service Lines.
  • Provides direct performance feedback to assigned staff.

Job Qualification







  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 5-7 years of project management experience, 1-3 years of program management experience, and 1-3 years leadership / management experience, required.
  • PMP of PgMP Certification, preferred.


Highly Preferred:



  • Epic Implementation Experience: Demonstrated involvement in large-scale Epic implementations, with a strong understanding of activation planning, cutover readiness, and at-the-elbow support coordination in complex healthcare environments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Expectation Management: Proven ability to manage and align diverse stakeholder expectations across clinical, operational, and IT domains, ensuring transparency, buy-in, and sustained momentum throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Relationship Building & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skilled in cultivating trust-based relationships with senior leaders, operational owners, vendor partners, and frontline staff to foster collaboration and drive unified program execution.
  • Facilitation & Conflict Resolution: Expertise in facilitating strategic meetings, working groups, and activation readiness sessions; comfortable navigating challenging conversations and de-escalating conflict in high-pressure settings.
  • Leadership in Ambiguity & Change Management: Adept at leading teams through ambiguity, shifting priorities, and evolving go-live dynamics with a calm, solutions-oriented approach that reinforces program goals and organizational values.
