Sonographer Lead

• Performs and documents ultrasounds, navigates clinic session to improve and maximize patient throughput, effectively communicates with patients, families, staff and MFMs at all Imaging centers. (70%)
• Actively involved in development and roll-out of unit and hospital-wide best practices to promote quality patient-care and standards at all centers. Practice Champion: PACS Soarian, GE-RIS, Kronos timekeeper and Viewpoint super user. Evaluate and audit unit programs to ensure accuracy and report results, support staff annual staff competencies, scheduling maintenance of ultrasound machine and HLD inventory, participation of AIUM and JC readiness (20%)
• Promote a UH Speak Up culture to promote a safe environment for patients and family in support of University Hospitals mission, value, and vision. Support patient and physician schedules, support and documentation of annual staff competencies, participates in Oracle purchasing and schedule of fleet ultrasound machine maintenance (10%)
