Job Description: Baptist Health is looking for a Senior Learning Experience Designer to join our team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY & IN . The Senior Learning Experience Designer creates innovative learning solutions that engage employees and drive performance across the organization. This role combines advanced expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and learning technologies to produce high-impact eLearning, multimedia, and related assets. The Senior Learning Experience Designer partners cross-functionally to understand business needs, collaborates with subject matter experts, and applies cutting-edge authoring tools and technologies to deliver exceptional learning experiences. This position also plays a critical role in leading project management efforts and driving continuous improvement to elevate the quality and effectiveness of learning solutions. Responsibilities: Design and Development
- Designs innovative learning experiences that engage employees and drive performance.
- Applies advanced user-centered design principles to create highly innovative and accessible learning experiences, ensuring the use of cutting-edge technologies and techniques to enhance learner engagement.
- Writes and revises scripts and storyboards as part of the learning experience design process.
- Designs and develops learning solutions including eLearning, multimedia, and related assets.
- Guides and mentors team members in developing creative approaches to learning experiences, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
- Reviews and refines the work of other designers, offering constructive feedback to elevate the quality of learning solutions.
Analysis and Quality Assurance
- Conducts needs analysis to define learning needs, objectives, and outcomes.
- Utilizes data-driven insights and industry trends to shape strategic recommendations for learning initiatives that align with organizational goals and business priorities.
- Develops and implements assessment tools and methodologies to measure the effectiveness of learning solutions, providing insights into learner performance and areas for improvement.
- Conducts quality assurance of learning solutions to test functionality and optimize the learning experience.
- Implements continuous improvement strategies by analyzing learner feedback and performance data, making iterative adjustments to optimize learning experiences for engagement and effectiveness.
- Analyzes complex learner feedback and performance data, offering data-driven suggestions for enhancements to improve the quality and impact of learning experiences.
- Regularly reviews and refines existing learning materials, ensuring they remain current, accurate, and relevant, while incorporating best practices in design and technology.
Consultation and Collaboration
- Consults with subject matter experts and stakeholders during the project lifecycle to inform learning solutions.
- Leverages industry expertise to influence decision-making, providing strategic recommendations that ensure learning initiatives are innovative, impactful, and aligned with best practices in learning experience design.
- Collaborates with cross-functional team members to guide the implementation and evaluation of learning solutions.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to collect detailed feedback, integrating their input to continuously improve learning solutions and align them with organizational goals.
Project Management
- Develops and manages detailed project plans, including timelines and milestone tracking to ensure that learning solutions are delivered on time and within scope.
- Coordinates project activities across multiple teams and departments, effectively managing dependencies, priorities, and stakeholder communications to keep projects on track.
- Monitors and reports on project progress, proactively identifying potential challenges and implementing strategies to mitigate risks.
- Utilizes project management tools and methodologies to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and optimize team performance in the development and delivery of learning solutions.
Technology Proficiency and Continuous Improvement
- Maintains advanced proficiency with learning technologies including eLearning authoring and multimedia development tools.
- Stayscurrent with emerging technologies, authoring tools, and industry trends and best practices.
- Evaluates and recommends emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance learning experiences and keep the organization at the forefront of learning experience design innovation.
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Advanced proficiency in eLearning authoring and multimedia development tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Vyond)
- Advanced knowledge of needs analysis
- Advanced knowledge of adult learning theory
- Advanced knowledge of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM)
- Advanced knowledge of learning management systems and related technologies
- Advanced knowledge of project management
- Excellent writtenand verbal communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build partnerships to gain insights and buy-in

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred
- Four + years experience in instructional design, educational technology, or related field required
- Four years experience, additional experience above minimum may be substituted for degree
