Associate Compliance Specialist

Position location is flexible and may office from a branch in Winona, MN - Denton, TX or High Point, NC

Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

OVERVIEW:

Working as Full-time Associate Compliance Specialist Procurement, Supply Chain, Product Development, Quality, Customers and Sales Teams. Your primary responsibility will be to provide first-level support to the Compliance Lead and Manager responsible for Fastenal Brands development, including product label reviews and compliance checks. This role will contribute to the global development of our brands and ensure compliance through annual maintenance reviews. Key business areas you will interact with include operations, tax, supply chain compliance, procurement, international teams, product development, sales, suppliers and more. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Developing and building label templates for ORMADUS, Body Guard and Fastener branded products using new 3rd party labeling software

o Assisting with supplier data outreaches as needed

o Creating and designing manual artwork for labels, product manuals and packaging

o Supporting QR code creation and maintenance, updating images or links for existing QR codes and creating new QR codes upon request

o Running sales data and Exclusive Brand item data for external/internal requests

o Providing weekly updates for FPS revisions

o Generating Exclusive Brand reports as needed

o Enforcing company policy regarding supply chain compliance

o Using PeopleSoft, PIM, Microsoft PowerBI, Brandfolder, Smartsheet, Internet and Microsoft Office Suite regularly

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed

oExcellent written and oral communication skills

oProficient using Microsoft Office Suite, including formula building (VLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, pivot tables)

o Experience in artwork creation and design

oHighly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented

oExhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills

oDemonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

oDemonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency

oLearn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

oWork independently and as a team

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

oPass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

FULL-TIME BENEFITS:

COMPENSATION:

The base pay range for this position is $40,000 - 50,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
