Essential Job Duties |
As a
Production Specialist, you'll help market our services, work directly with clients, and ensure consistently high print quality across all equipment. This role operates under general supervision and involves hands-on production work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build client relationships and support marketing efforts to grow our customer base.
- Complete print jobs from start to finish-operate machines, ensure quality and color consistency, and prepare materials for delivery.
- Deliver finished products across campus using a University vehicle.
- Model the Division's mission and values and foster a positive, cohesive workplace and congeniality among co-workers.
- Understand the goals and culture of the organization, and understand how employees' work activities, teamwork, and customer service impact clients. Work with your supervisor and colleagues to understand these goals and the culture.
- Adhere to all University policies, procedures, and regulations, and Division standard operating practices and protocols.

Other Responsibilities |
In addition to the core responsibilities of this role, there may be occasional opportunities to take on additional duties, such as;

Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Education |
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. |
Other Required Qualifications |
- Able to plan, organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and customer needs.
- Good technical knowledge of printing and copying work, along with the equipment and software used for production.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, peers and supervisors; and professionally communicate with multiple levels of employees within the University.
- Provide outstanding customer service, including the ability to remain professional and respectful under pressure when dealing with difficult situations, to team and customers.
- Excellence in completing all tasks and performance goals.
- Requires standard troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to use or learn to use email.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Related experience within a retail environment.
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite
- Experience in graphic design/graphic arts.

- Valid Driver's License required.
- Valid North Carolina Driver's License must be maintained as a condition of employment.
