Base Pay: $24.00 - $26.00

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (9:00 am - 5:30 pm) - Overtime required

Duties and Responsibilities

The Lead Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain operations of a company. The Lead Warehouse Associate will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy. This role requires leadership skills, inventory management expertise, and the ability to coordinate with various departments to streamline processes.

  • Manage inventory levels, stock organization, and order fulfillment
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and warehouse regulations
  • Track incoming and outgoing shipments and verify documentation accuracy
  • Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to optimize warehouse workflow
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency-driven strategies
  • Cultivate a collaborative team atmosphere; promote open dialogue and teamwork
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of inventory control systems and warehouse software
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; additional certifications in warehouse management preferred
  • Must be comfortable with different work environment - this position shifts from clerical to warehouse duties
  • Must Possess Good Communication Skills - ability to talk to customers
  • Intermediate computer skills (Email, Internet, Excel, Word) - must be able to log data into spreadsheets
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
  • Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
  • Some knowledge of a manufacturing environment.
