PLEASE NOTE: This is not affiliated with the Airborne Maintenance & Engineering Services A&P Program. The Aircraft Structures Apprenticeship Program is a 18-24 Month Program designed to provide structures specific training with the end goal of obtaining a Repairman's Certificate and an Airframe License through the FAA.

What you need:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic mechanical skills/aptitude
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand & effectively communicate in English
  • Demonstrated experience exhibiting fine motor skills, manual dexterity & attention to detail
  • Demonstrated problem solving and creative thinking skills
  • Demonstrated reliability & dependability
  • Ability follow written & verbal directions and to interpret diagrams
  • Desire to learn a trade
  • Ability & willingness to practice safe work procedures
  • Ability to precisely manipulate hand tools in a variety of situations
  • Basic computer proficiency to enable access to digital manuals, training materials, regulations, etc.


Preferred Job Skills:



  • Previous work experience in a maintenance or skilled trade environment
  • Previous experience interpreting diagrams and technical documentation or directions
  • Previous experience using hand tools


Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
