Job Summary

The Procurment Lead is responsible for the operational delivery of all procurement projects in the site procurement team - e.g. work transfers, major aircraft modifications and New Product Introduction (NPI). This role is a key link in the procurement global commodity team and resolves supplier escalations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the development and execution of project plans for procurement work transfers, major engine part modifications and New Product Introductions (NPI) and rate readiness issues for the supply chain
  • Responsible for forging close relationships with US supplier base, focusing on our Engines East locations (East Coast)
  • Interface with the global procurement commodity team, site procurement team and key stakeholders within the business lines to ensure on time delivery of the Procurement NPI, modification or work transfer project
  • Ensure that the risk management process is followed for each procurement project
  • Accountable for communication with internal customers regarding any procurement NPI, modification or work transfer project and ensure that the correct process and procedures are adhered to and signed off at the appropriate times
  • Accountable for the completion of supplier rate readiness reviews and load and capacity activities in support of any procurement NPI, modification or work transfer project
  • Accountable for the on-time delivery and quality of parts from suppliers for any NPI, modification or work transfer project until parts have passed FAI and PPAP deliveries.
  • Ensure that all projects are handed over seamlessly to the site
  • Manage direct and indirect resources to deliver projects

Job Qualifications

Basic Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree (Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related preferred)
  • 5 years' experience in Supply Chain Management
  • 3 years' experience in Procurement Lead roles working with cross functional teams
  • 1 year experience in project management
  • 1 year experience with an international supply base
  • Must be US Citizen due to program security clearance requirements and/or SSA requirements


Preferred Requirements:



  • Strong understanding of the Aerospace industry and associated technological and commercial trends
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office/Teams
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with a supplier network
