TITLE: TCU Vehicle Line Release Engineer DUTIES: Follow the integration and deployment of telematic control units in vehicles; define and manage the development plan for the telematic component, ensuring alignment with the Design Acceptance Checklist (DAC) and vehicle milestones; coordinate with the local Electrical and Electronic (EE) architecture team to maintain consistency with module development plans; support the definition of technical specifications and assisting in the sourcing process, culminating in conducting Technical Design Reviews (TDRs) before awarding supplier programs; manage the supplier's development, testing, and release of hardware and software, ensuring all vehicle program milestones are met; coordinate testing activities, collecting data for defect triage, and communicate results between suppliers and Stellantis Engineering groups; collaborate with the vehicle team for component installation and packaging studies, ensuring installation requirements are met or managed; support the installation, production, and end-of-line (EOL) procedures to the plant ensuring a smooth implementation; lead defect analysis and resolution activities, investigate plant issues, and address quality concerns; prepare progress reports for management and manage post-launch activities, including continuous improvement releases and maintenance; track and respond to bulletins ensuring ongoing product enhancement and reliability. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related and 3 years of experience in the job offered or software engineering or related. Experience must include: Working with cloud networks and system design; Working with Prototyping and production activities; Working with Automotive Vehicle Networks and CAN bus architecture; Hardware and Software Project management, including problem-solving and coordinating with designers, coders, integrators and business teams; Working with Canalyzer for system diagnostics and log analysis; 2 years of experience in automotive electrical architecture, electrical/electronic systems and engineering design for software-based consumer products.
