Overview: The Patient Relations Specialist acts as an administrative liaison to patients, family members, physicians, coworkers, and departments, assisting patients in understanding hospital services and resolving their concerns. It includes receiving and investigating patient complaints to ensure timely and positive resolutions, while promoting patient rights and services in line with regulatory standards and Mercy's mission. * Responds to requests for information regarding patient care and services, including compliments and complaints, in a timely manner from patients, families, co-workers, and physicians.
