 VTG is looking for Contract Administrator in Vanderberg, CA (VSFB) and Cape Canaveral, FL. What will you do?
 
 
 Enterprise Staff Services - Contracts Support (CS) provides contracts support across the OSL enterprise executing a full range of OSL Contract tasks. This support includes, but is not limited to pre-solicitation and solicitation activities, source selections, post-award contract execution and closeout activities. CS labor category skill levels (Pl thru P3) coupled with applicable launch service contract Statement of Work (SOW) tasks determine CS skill level requirements. Functions and related task may include: 
 Provide general contract administration support including preparation of data-call responses for Government approval and/or reports as directed by the CO, COTR and Program ManagerInterface with NRO financial management systems such as Budget Execution and Reporting Tool (BERT), Budget Analysis, Reporting Tool (BART), FIRST, Forest and Trees and other NRO financial management tools.Maintain contract files in accordance with all required regulationsPrepare contract award and modifications in accordance with NAM/FAR for COReview/signature into EPX, to include identifying appropriate solicitation and contract clausesDevelop, edit, review, and maintain all contractual documentation, such as pre-negotiation and price negotiation memorandums and other acquisition/contracting documents 
 Review, make recommendations and maintain official contractual documentation of program office generated SOWs, Justifications and Approvals (J&A), acquisition plans, and other acquisition/contracting documentsProvide contracts advice and guidm1ce to COTR, Program Control, and/or Security, as requiredCollect and analyze relevant market infonnation from Government and non-Government sources to identify possible sources; review, edit and support Market Research reportsAnalyze and document cash flow considerations for appropriate contract actionsAnalyze customer requirements and recommend the appropriate contract type that meets all statutory requirementsIdentify the appropriate method of pubhcizing a procurementConstruct contract incentives that meet required policy while incentivizing positive contractor performanceDetem1ine and recommend types of contracts financing available based on contract type and method ofprocur'ementDetermine and document when full and open, full and open after exclusion of sources, and Other Than Full and Open competition should be usedReview and make recommendations on source selection criteria using best value, lowest price technically acceptable or other methods for contracts awarded by negotiationReview and make recommendations on pre-award and post-award debriefings for unsuccessful offerorsSupport pre-award and post-award protests in accordance with the FAR/NAM requirementsReview and conduct cost/price analysis of contractor proposals, to include identify when certified cost or pricing data is requiredAssist in preparing and conducting negotiation of all the elements of a potential contract or solicitation including schedule, performance, and price; and prepare related documentsTrack contractor use of Government propc1ty and supp01t the resolution of property related issuesPrepare and submit expired contracts into the contract close out (i.e., Settlements) process.Support and document contract terminations including calculating contract tc1mination final contract price 
 Analyze, compute, and track contract payments and support the resolution of payment- related problemsIdentify indicators of fraud or other legal offensesAnalyze, recommend, and document the validity of claimsResolve contract issues with CO approvalReview, evaluate, recommend, and document subcontracting plans, organizational conflict of interest plans, foreign ownership, control, or influence situations, international traffic and arms regulation situations, and deviation waivers.Support and document delivery and acceptance of goods and/or services in accordance with the contract Do you have what it takes?
 
 
 Position requires a current and active TS/SCI with Poly; Years experience can be subsituted as follows:

   | 15 YEARS EXP = MASTERS |  |  Ability to: Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $90,000 - 130,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range |
