The Role:

Join our global IT organization as a Project Manager / Scrum Master at our site in Aurora, IL to drive a critical objective within our IT programs. You will lead a cross-functional team to deliver innovative technology solutions that enhance our business operations, support product offering improvements, streamline operations, and support our worldwide workforce. This role is pivotal in advancing our internal IT capabilities, ensuring alignment with the organization's long-term strategic vision.

What You'll Do:

  • Guide and coach teams on project management practices and principles to deliver high-quality products.

  • Assist in leading cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones and ensure accountability.

  • Support the development and management of sprint plans, or detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to achieve on-time, within-budget outcomes as determined by best fit project methodology and needs.

  • Collaborate with Business or Product Owners to ensure the stories or tasks are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for execution.

  • Facilitate team meetings like weekly reviews, or daily stand-ups, planning, retrospectives, and reviews.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, reporting, escalating, and resolving blockers to maintain project momentum and quality standards.

  • Deliver regular status updates to stakeholders, translating technical progress into business impacts.

  • Drive process optimization by integrating IT solutions (e.g., cloud platforms, AI tools) with internal workflows.

  • Ensure compliance with global IT standards, security protocols, and data governance policies.

  • Operate effectively in variable maturity teams, guiding them through the stages of project management practices and transformation, as necessary.

  • Lead by example in project management, demonstrating best practices and fostering a mindset of continuous improvement.

What We Seek:

  • Bachelor's degreein Project Management, IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum 4 yearsof project management experience in IT or related fields.

  • Team first orientation.

  • Experiencein managing both Agile and predictive teams.

  • Proficiencyin project management and Agile tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence).

  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills.

  • Proven abilityto work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

  • Proven track recordof supporting team performance and achieving project goals.

  • Ability to navigate and managethe complexities of project environments.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

  • Experiencein driving transformation of predictive methodologies to Agile, and leading teams through the transition.

  • Proficiency with tools like Jira / Confluence, Smartsheet, Miro, etc.

  • Certifications such as PMP, CSM, or Scaled Agile (SA).

  • Experience with scaling Agile and project management practices across multiple teams or large organizations.

  • Experience with digitally focused programs, such as Platform development, AI integration, or cloud adoption.

  • Leadership experience building high-performing teams in dynamic settings.

  • Compensation: $100,000-140,000/year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
