Job Summary:

Qlarant is seeking a dedicated and strategic Regional Manager to join our team on a full-time, regular basis. As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations, sales, and team management within your designated region. This position requires a dynamic leader who can drive performance, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Your role will involve extensive travel, up to 50%, to various locations within your region to meet with clients, assess market trends, and provide support to your team. Based in DC Home Based, you will be at the forefront of Qlarant's regional business activities, playing a critical role in achieving our strategic objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing effective review tools and processes to evaluate the quality of support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities, aligning these tools with their unique needs. Plans, manages, and coordinates activities of designated projects to drive the achievement of project goals and ensure projects are completed and delivered within the prescribed time frames and funding parameters. Remains abreast on industry trends, relevant laws and statutes, regulatory regulations, and policies governing services to forecast emergent changes in legislation and make necessary adjustments to programs and operations to ensure organizational compliance



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Facilitates and assesses programs that support individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD).
  • Directs a team of professionals and support staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff, ensuring they provide quality solutions.
  • Supports contract budgets to ensure resources are allocated efficiently to meet the needs of DD contracts.
  • Acts independently to implement quality assurance measures to ensure programs consistently meet established standards and regulations.
  • Checks compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing services, keeping abreast of changes in legislation and making necessary adjustments to review tools and operations.
  • Collaborates with community organizations, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to raise awareness, promote inclusion, and advocate for the rights and needs of individuals.
  • Evaluates data related to program outcomes, client satisfaction, and other relevant metrics
  • Guides and trains staff, providing constructive feedback, and proactively identifying opportunities for growth and development
  • Is recognized as a key point of contact for clients across multiple projects, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships based on trust and expertise.
  • Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.
  • Develops and conducts training and presentations for internal associates and/or external customers and providers.

Required Experience

Education and/or Experience:



  • Bachelors with 8-11 years experience working with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities required
  • Master's degree and four years' experience in the field preferred
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a management role within a relevant industry strongly preferred
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution preferred
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and budget oversight preferred
  • Previous responsibility for sales performance and market expansion preferred
