Join our client's fast-growing tax preparation firm dedicated to helping individuals and small businesses gain financial clarity. Our partner company specializes in tax filings (current and back), tax resolution, and tailored financial support. We're looking for a Bilingual Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who is bilingual in English and Spanish to bring expertise, structure, and leadership to our team.

This role is perfect for a CPA passionate about mentorship, system-building, and contributing to a mission-driven company for the long haul. You will be supported by a small administrative team to handle client intake, document prep, and daily operations.

Schedule: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $30 - $45/hr. (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:



  • Deliver accurate bookkeeping and tax prep for individuals and small businesses
  • Manage tax resolution cases including audits, notices, and payment agreements
  • Review, sign off, and ensure compliance on tax returns prepared by the team
  • Create and improve SOPs for tax prep, client onboarding, and workflows
  • Train and mentor tax preparers and support staff
  • Collaborate with leadership to enhance client experience and internal systems
  • Help expand the firm's offerings and guide long-term growth




Qualifications:



  • Active CPA license in California (or reciprocity-eligible)
  • 3+ years in tax, bookkeeping, or public accounting
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Skilled in QuickBooks, Drake Software, and tax compliance
  • Experience reviewing tax returns and writing internal procedures
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills (must be open to helping with taking lead to help train new employees)
  • A commitment to growing with our firm over the long term
