Join our team as a Hardware Assembler!
1st Shift 7am-3pm
The Hardware Assembler is responsible for safely, productively, and skillfully completing machined parts to print using various assembly equipment.

What you will do
  • Determine product requirements, including scope, assembly sequences, and required methods and materials, according to blueprints, drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Installation of helicoil, PEM inserts and other various pieces of hardware into components of components.
  • Inspect individual parts, assemblies, and installations for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, scales, and micrometers.
  • Drill and punch holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets
  • Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job.
  • Select tools and materials for the job.
  • Install hardware, perform drilling, and tapping while maintaining quality of product and consistency.
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness of areas including storage areas.
  • Follow procedures and processes including signing off on required paperwork
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
What it takes
  • Ability to understand and analyze technical drawings, specifications, and notes.
  • Experience deburring, installing hardware, drilling, and tapping.
  • Familiar with different types of hardware and installation methods and specifications.
  • Good communications skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal directions.
  • Ability to inspect work with precision measurement tools.
Bonus to have
  • Previous experience in a CNC Machining environment.
  • Previous experience in Quality Inspection.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of applicable experience in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Demands:
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit; use a computer keyboard, monitor and mouse, telephone and printer; reach with hands, and arms, talk, see and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop or kneel and must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
Work Environment:
Indoors (A/C); nonsmoking; the majority of this job function is performed in a manufacturing area exposed to machinery and noise; with eye protection and safety shoes required. Occasionally works in outside weather conditions. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
