Field Automation Sales Specialist
Overview Waters is seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Automation Field Sales Specialist responsible for selling the Waters automation portfolio within an assigned geographic region. The portfolio includes the Andrew+ pipetting robot as well as related software, accessories, and consumables. The role will be responsible for driving business growth into a wide variety of markets, including life science research, pharmaceutical, food, environmental, and chemical materials. Tactical responsibilities include building relationships with key customers, delivering technical presentations, taking part in workshops and demonstrations of Andrew+, navigating the purchase process, and ensuring customer success at all stages. The desired candidate is a self-starter in developing and implementing a territorial business plan to drive growth of Waters automation products and services while working in concert with sales account managers, technical sales specialists, and marketing colleagues to deliver a bold call cycle and business development activities. The foundation of the Automation Field Sales Specialist's role is to develop a keen understanding of the customers' needs and challenges, crafting solutions with a lasting and meaningful business impact. The territory covers the following US states: Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, South Dakota, North Dakota, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia and Oklahoma.
