Engineering Intern

Fillauer is searching for an Engineering Intern to join our Salt Lake City team. This position reports directly to the Production Engineering Manager and will assist the team with installing equipment, material testing, and assessing product returns. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities,and will thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Assist engineers in product return assessment and either repair or discard
• Assist engineers in material testing and qualification of 2^nd source adhesives
• Assist engineers and facility managers with installing equipment and support infrastructure
• Inspect failure modes and assess for root cause
• Perform other assigned duties

• Minimum 2 years of full-time undergraduate work
• Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree program with a declared major relevant to internship

• Detail oriented/ Analytical
• Good communication and interpersonal skills from operating a small business
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Takes initiative and can work independently with minimal direction
• Strong sense of personal accountability to meet deadlines
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Always act with integrity in all ways and, remaining honest, transparent, and respectful in all relationships
• Foster open collaboration and constructive dialogue with everyone around you
