Quality Inspector I (6:00am-2:30pm)

Perform final visual and physical inspections on power wheelchairs to meet order specifications, production standards and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations

*Inspect finished product for defects or imperfections in aesthetics and function

*Ensure conformance to order specifications and FDA regulations

*Operate and perform inspection on all test fixtures within the department

*Utilize the Matrix/ProductionWare system and ensure that all pertinent product information is documented and recorded onto the Device History Record (DHR)

*Use a team-oriented approach and communicate concerns and issues to management

*Perform duties assigned and with minimal supervision

*Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

*Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training

*Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

*Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

*Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times

*Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

*Must be a team player, friendly, detail-oriented, and honest

Must have the ability to:

*Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

*Read and interpret work instructions, work orders, inspection criteria, tape measures, policies, and procedures

*Utilize testing and inspection equipment

*Identify and record data with complete accuracy

*Lift/push/pull up to 40lbs.

*Work extended hours, including weekends, as business needs dictate

Must have:

*Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

*A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods

*Good verbal and written communication skills

*At least 6 months of Quality Assurance experience OR at least 1 year of experience in a hands-on assembly or manufacturing role

*At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment performing visual and physical inspections on an assembled mechanical product preferred

*Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

*High School Diploma or GED preferred

*American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification preferred
