Job Description

Participates in the technical research and support of properly depicting customer locations for all new and existing development. Establishes the information system that supports PSE business processes by creating and updating the Regional Structure. Provides information to internal departments and municipalities with data research, validation and assistance.

Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operation and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create, develop and maintain the Regional Structure and Account Address information.
  • Participate in process development and quality standards for account improvements. Recommend procedural changes to department management.
  • Perform and review data from system audits and reporting to identify areas that require correction and/or creation in SAP.
  • Ensure the integrity of the customer master data that is built in the system and is properly maintained.
  • Understand and provide actionable data to internal PSE departments. Provide quality feedback to internal departments and outside agencies on customer location issues.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Regional Structure and on customer account attributes.
  • Research and process municipal annexations, low-income and tribal exemptions and work directly with billing department on utility tax credits.
  • Analyze business processes, functions and procedures to determine most effective solution to meet departmental and company needs.
  • Advise and interpret tax jurisdiction, political boundaries and company policy procedural questions related to customer service for internal and external customers.
  • Interface with internal departments to inform and define future process improvements and ensure documentation and follow-up when necessary.
  • Responsible for filing city business license renewals and other administrative state and local tax duties as assigned.
  • Company & Industry Acumen - Possesses sound knowledge of company operations; may seek direction for additional tasks; able to effectively report out findings to immediate supervisor; understands when to escalate important issues.
  • Collaboration - Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Customer Focus - Identifies customer expectations and takes actions to support the customer experience. Consistently considers customer needs in decision-making.
  • Innovation & Process Improvement - Completes daily responsibilities with minimal oversight and looks for opportunities to identify and recommend improvements to processes, procedures and systems, when applicable; that appropriately considerers stakeholder feedback. Actively builds knowledge and skills to align with industry standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to details, problem solving, and analytical skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, GIS Technology, Urban or Regional Planning or related field and/or 2 years of relevant experience or an equal combination of education and/or experience
  • Experience working with SAP and a working knowledge of the SAP Regional Structure
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and maps
  • Ability to read and interpret County Tax and Auditor's records
  • Working knowledge of land planning and the political structure of municipalities
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and conflict resolution
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail

The pay range for this position is$70,200.00-$99,800.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
