Job Summary:
As a Training Specialist in our Westrock Coffee's Advanced Manufacturing and Analytics team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and growing our training program for all production-related jobs. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to identify training needs, create training materials and documents, facilitate orientation for new hires, and act as a valuable resource for employees' career growth and proficiency testing. Your passion for training and commitment to excellence will contribute to the professional development of our workforce and ensure our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
1. Training Program Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and create a comprehensive training program for all production-related jobs. Ensure alignment with company goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
2. Training Material Creation: Design and develop training materials, including manuals, presentations, videos, and other multimedia resources. Ensure training content is engaging, interactive, and tailored to various learning styles.
3. Orientation of New Hires: Conduct orientation sessions for new hires, introducing them to company policies, procedures, safety protocols, and job-specific requirements. Ensure a smooth onboarding experience and promote a positive work environment.
4. Training Delivery: Facilitate training sessions for employees, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and technologies. Ensure training effectiveness and address any questions or concerns from trainees.
5. Career Development Support: Act as a valuable resource for employees seeking career growth opportunities. Provide guidance, mentorship, and information on training programs, certifications, and advancement opportunities within the organization.
6. Proficiency Testing: Develop and administer proficiency tests to assess employees' knowledge and skills. Analyze test results, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with supervisors to develop targeted training plans.
7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of training activities, certifications, and employee progress. Prepare regular reports on training program effectiveness, completion rates, and employee feedback.

Qualification
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Training and Development, Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
2. Familiarity with training software, learning management systems (LMS), and e-learning platforms.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging and effective training sessions to diverse audiences.
4. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
5. Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate training needs, assess training effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
6. Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with employees at all levels and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
7. Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and manufacturing processes is advantageous.
8. Continuous improvement mindset and a passion for fostering employee growth and development.
