The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA. ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM A Lead Field Service Engineer is responsible for maintenance, repairs, and installations at customer sites. They serve as a subject matter expert on data governance, support the Data Owner, and guide the team through effective leadership. The role also includes managing site operations, coordinating facility needs and leases, ensuring equipment availability, and overseeing software and hardware licensing. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Install, maintain, and repair equipment or systems at customer sites, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to reduce equipment downtime and service interruptions.
- Provide on-site customer training and support to improve equipment usage and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate service documentation, including installation records, maintenance logs, and repair reports.
- Oversee facility operations, ensuring all systems, infrastructure, and safety standards are maintained.
- Manage the facility budget, lead space planning, and drive renovation and sustainability projects.
- Coordinate external service providers and manage contracts for maintenance, cleaning, and security.
- Implement and monitor data governance policies to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance.
- Oversee inventory of tools and parts, forecast needs, liaise with suppliers, and ensure stock accuracy.
- Lead, coach, and support the field service team, fostering collaboration, communication, and development.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; specialized degrees in Data Management, IT, or Supply Chain preferred for niche roles.
- Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA or Master's in Operations/Engineering) are beneficial for senior-level roles.
- Relevant certifications such as CDMP, Tableau, Power BI, or similar are preferred for data-related roles.
- Facility management roles may require certifications like Certified Facility Manager (CFM).
- Inventory and supply chain roles benefit from certifications such as CSCP or CPIM.
- Safety-related certifications (e.g., OSHA or Environmental Compliance) are valued across operational roles.
- Field support roles may require technical certifications like CompTIA or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
- Proven experience (3-4 years) in equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Strong background in inventory management, procurement processes, and use of inventory systems.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams, managing customer relationships, delivering training, and producing operational and data reports.

Pay Transparency Nondiscrimination Provision In the U.S. (New York), the standard base pay range for this role is $75K - $82K Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
