THE JOB: As a Recruitment Sourcer at MGM Resorts International, you will play a critical role in supporting our Talent Acquisition function by identifying, engaging, and nurturing top talent for challenging-to-fill roles. You'll drive the proactive sourcing of candidates, conduct market research, and build talent pipelines that align with MGMRI's strategic hiring goals. This role is essential in maintaining our competitive edge in the hospitality and gaming industry and upholding our commitment to excellence, diversity, and sustainability. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Proactively source and engage candidates for challenging and specialized roles across various departments. Build and manage a talent pipeline for high-priority positions, supporting both immediate and future hiring needs. Conduct in-depth market research and talent mapping to understand trends, talent availability, and competitor insights. Partner closely with Recruiters to align sourcing strategies with specific role requirements and team goals. Initiate candidate outreach and conduct screenings to assess fit and readiness. Provide candidates with detailed information about role expectations, MGM Resorts' culture, and the hiring process. Maintain accurate candidate records in our CRM or ATS platforms, ensuring compliance and data integrity. Actively participate in online communities, attend networking events, and use social platforms like LinkedIn to build long-term candidate relationships. Stay current on sourcing best practices, emerging tools, and industry trends to optimize effectiveness. Support and implement inclusive hiring strategies to attract a wide range of talent.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
2+ Years of prior relevant experience in recruiting sourcing, talent acquisition, or related fields Proficiency in sourcing tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, CRM systems) Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, Lever) Strong research and analytical skills for market mapping and competitive analysis Creative problem-solving mindset and a drive to continuously improve sourcing outcomes Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
