Position Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. As a Recruiter at Lee Health, you will coordinate recruitment activities for your assigned areas, including pre-screening, interviewing, scheduling, and referring top talent to hiring managers. You will collaborate with HR leadership, department leaders, and your peers to craft effective recruiting strategies that meet our staffing needs.

The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-focused, and committed to attracting the best-qualified candidates who share our passion for exceptional care and community service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned departments, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and department managers to develop and monitor recruiting plans and strategies.
  • Provide guidance and understanding of Lee Health's recruitment policies, procedures, and employment laws to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Participate actively in recruiting events, candidate database searches, promotional campaigns, and job fairs/conferences to attract high-quality talent.
  • Delegate tasks to Recruitment Assistants, including candidate management, interview scheduling, and related duties.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between employment agencies/search firms and hiring departments.
  • Support special projects and additional job-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

Education:

Associate degree required. (Bachelors degree preferred).

Experience:

Minimum one-year related experience in Recruitment, HR generalist or human resource related experience with experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

License: N/A

Certification: N/A

Other:

Must have excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, be flexible, creative, and innovative and be able to promote and sell Lee Health to potential candidates. Some travel required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret recruitment data, business periodicals, procedures, or governmental regulations. Must have the ability to effectively negotiate, communicate, and present information and respond to questions from clients (hiring managers, candidates, key executive stakeholders). Knowledge of federal and state employment laws. Experience and proficient use of Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel PowerPoint, Internet).
