Summary

Trident Maritime Systems - CAC is hiring an Accounts Receivable and Payable Clerk to handle financial, administrative, and clerical tasks. Responsibilities include payment processing, revenue verification, and milestone contract tracking. Join us if you're a detail-oriented professional with a strong financial background, manufacturing industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process payments in accordance with financial policies.
  • Handle daily financial transactions, including verifying and recording accounts receivable data.
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accurate payments.
  • Resolve client billing issues.
  • Send payment reminders and assist clients with invoices.
  • Generate reports on accounts receivable status.
  • Track milestone contracts accurately.
  • Maintain detailed deferred revenue records.



Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Proven working experience as an accounts receivable clerk, accounts receivable manager, or accountant with AR experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
  • Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (Experience with Cloud Suite Industrial is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Excel and in MS Office.
  • Customer service orientation and strong negotiation skills.
  • Competency in preparing account reconciliations.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, which is an absolute must.



Education and/or Experience

  • Associate's degree or relevant certification.
  • At least 1-year relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
