Responsibilities
Provide In-Home Pediatric Therapy Services Deliver skilled speech-language therapy to pediatric patients in their homes, including comprehensive assessments, development and implementation of individualized care plans, and patient/family education to promote communication, cognitive, and swallowing function. Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and outcome-driven therapy aligned with the pediatric patient's plan of care. Ensure Accurate Documentation and Compliance Maintain timely and compliant documentation, participate in quality assurance activities, and uphold professional standards related to home health regulations, pediatric care, and infection control procedures.
Qualifications
Education:
- Master's degree in speech-language pathology
Experience:
- One year experience caring for similar patient population as to be assigned.
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Licensed as a speech-language pathologist by the state(s) where providing services
- If state does not require SLP license - completion of 350 clock hours of supervised clinical practicum; completions of 9 months of supervised full-time speech-language pathology services after obtaining a smaster's or doctoral degree; and completion of national examiniation in speech-language pathology approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services
- Valid licensed driver with automobile insurance in accordance with state(s) and/or organizational requirments.
- Mandatory Reporter: Child + Dependent Adult Abuse
- CPR: Maintain a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Card with Re-certification
