Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs testing as instructed or specified per customer and/or ISO 17025 requirements.
  • Use of multimeters, o-scopes, and other electrical Laboratory equipment
  • Use of force meters, torque meters, and other mechanical testing Laboratory equipment
  • Capable of recording, verifying, and reporting test data for a variety of variable and go/no test types
  • Able to follow detailed instructions per customer specification
  • Capable of setting up complicated testing and test setups
  • Basic mechanical fixture assembly
  • Records critical test observations as per test requirements.
  • Performs routine maintenance and verification checks on test equipment as needed.
  • Maintains workplace cleanliness.
  • Responsible for updating test documentation as required for tracking purposes.
  • Reviews test data to assure that testing is performed correctly as needed.
  • Assists the Quality Officer in ensuring implementation and compliance of the Management and Quality Systems to the ISO 17025 standard.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Technical Degree in Electronics.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office, emphasis on Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Ability to work independently

The base pay hiring rate expected for this position is: $22.75-$25.00 hourly

The employee must frequently do hand motions and repetitive tasks requiring hand eye coordination for assembling parts, must occasionally carry and lift up to 50 pounds to perform various duties. Occasionally do immediate reaching and overhead reaching, frequent standing to perform various duties, occasional walking for short amounts of time, and extended sitting for long periods of time at desk or workstation.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
