Overview

Rapiscan, an OSI Systems Company is seeking a Contract Recruiter, based out of Massachusetts or East Coast area preferred. Assignment duration will be 4+ months.

Rapiscan is a leading supplier of end-to-end security inspection solutions, utilizing multiple technologies and advanced threat identification algorithms based on X-ray and high-speed computed tomography imaging, ion mobility spectrometry, radiation detection, and optical inspection technologies. Our broad portfolio of products, services, and solutions helps customers in ports, borders, aviation, military, law enforcement, critical infrastructure, event security markets to solve complex security needs, including combatting terrorism, drug and weapon smuggling, and trade fraud. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full life-cycle recruiting while working in an advisory role for hiring leadership.
  • Manages the recruitment process including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and progress reporting.
  • Sources candidates through social and professional networking sites by conducting research and recommending sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Employing sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas through developing a pool of qualified candidates.
  • Develops and administers recruitment strategies both locally and nationally that meet organizational needs.
  • Conducts regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Plans and facilitates the organization's employment and recruiting programs, policies, and objectives to achieve optimal staffing levels.
  • Liaison with employment agencies, professional recruiters, colleges and universities and industry associations.
  • Promote workplace diversity through fair hiring practices and proactive outreach to diverse organizations.
  • Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Responsible for raising and selling the company "brand" to prospective employees.
  • Ensure the implementation of talent acquisition 'best practice' and maintain documentation incompliance with DOL and EEO/OFCCP requirements.
  • Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years full-cycle recruiting experience (preferably in a security, healthcare or manufacturing environment).
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience recruiting for multiple locations preferred.
  • Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably iCIMS).
  • Thorough knowledge of hiring and employment laws.
  • Innovative recruiting and sourcing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be highly organized and self-motivated.
