McKesson Medical-Surgical is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Customer & Marketplace Insights (CMI) team. In this role, you'll be the expert on marketplace dynamics and will guide our organization to deliver on our Customers' most important needs while growing the business. You'll produce strong data-driven insights that identify opportunities, outline clear implications, and justify strategic recommendations. Analysis, executive communication, problem solving, collaboration, relationship management, and a steadfast focus on the Customer are daily aspects of the role. This role will primarily provide insights and recommendations aligned with the Extended Care segment and/or the Lab product portfolio.

Responsibilities include a deep understanding of market dynamics and customers across multiple settings, monitoring and translating the regulatory and reimbursement landscape, and ongoing business analysis that identify actionable insights.

Focus & Responsibilities

Thought leader, subject matter expert, and main point-of-contact for all things marketplace insights for the Extended Care space and Lab products within our Medical-Surgical division. Conduct market analysis, opportunity assessments, industry expertise, and mapping to find insights that shape near-term priorities and inform growth goals. This includes personas, journeys, need hierarchies, deep competitive assessments, composing & synthesizing information, illustrating key business trends with both internal & external data, analyzing standard trended reports for insights, and assessing outliers. Coauthor strategic documents that lead to and inform the go-to-market action. This includes working extensively with stakeholders across Corporate Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Pricing, Product Strategy, Sales, and the Executive Team to identify our market aspiration, analyzing the market to determine segmentation and where to focus, and facilitating what value we bring to Customers. Execute both standardized reporting to monitor performance and deep dive analyses on pertinent business topics with a focus on driving action.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, or similar relevant degree, required
  • Minimum of 7 years of B2B experience

Travel:

  • Travel for Customer interactions and business meetings (~5-10%)

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$101,200 - $168,600
