Job Description

Performs various functions related to the development, automation, and maintenance of loan portfolio and consumer loan reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Assists in building and maintaining standard databases, and producing reports derived from these databases.
  • Creates reports as needed for monitoring the effects on the Bank's lending portfolio.
  • Assists in expanding and automating reports to develop standardized dashboards that align with the Credit/Risk Package.Recommend enhancements to reports and dashboards that provide meaningful data in a clear manner
  • Applies problem solving capabilities to challenges and determine the business impacts to the department and organization.
  • Act as a liaison between the lending lines and credit department when necessary
  • Participate in the design & implementation of Tableau dashboards
  • Provide ad hoc reporting to stakeholders and decision makers

JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional skills in critical thinking and problem solving through complex data deliverables
  • Aptitude for and/or formal education in data analysis
  • General familiarity with banking, specific expertise in bank data analysis a plus
  • Familiarity with credit policies and standards as well as relevant regulations and compliance issues
  • Ability to work well in a team or on your own; strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility in moving from task to task

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE



  • Minimum education requirement: Bachelor of Arts/Science degree
  • One to three years of experience working with substantial data sets, data reporting, business intelligence, and analytics specific to pivot tables & data validation.
  • Experience conducting data analytics and building dashboards using Tableau
  • Experience in banking or mortgage underwriting a plus
  • Familiarity with business intelligence applications such as Crystal Reporting preferred.
