The Engineered Materials Group Data, Analytics & Program Management Lead is responsible for directing, developing, and managing group-wide information systems, services, processes, and governance while also contributing to development of group initiatives. Leads the planning and management of resources to deliver the most efficient technology and data solutions across all group and divisional locations. Develops the IT team as part of group succession planning. Leads the discovery of innovative systems solutions to divisional management problems. Develops group strategic plans in accordance with divisional and group expectations and needs, incorporates enterprise systems solutions, and supports Corporate IT directions and goals.

  • Develop and maintain Business Intelligence and Analytics for the Engineered Materials Group by working with Divisional, Group, and Corporate resources to ensure that actionable information is available for problem-solving analysis and reporting.
  • Aggregate Parker data by working with each of the divisions to ensure that data is validated and stored in the corporate data marts or group environment
  • Work with stakeholders to develop roadmap for core group solutions and to optimize divisional reporting capabilities
  • Develop and implement data quality improvement projects
  • Build reporting and visualization competency throughout the divisions
  • Develop Group Data Mart strategy and Infrastructure Plan
  • Develop and Lead the EMG Project and Program management process
  • Lead a team of analysts who own and maintain the group Data Governance processes as well as providing an analytics service through Business Intelligence and Data Science techniques, providing insight and appropriate actions for sites, divisions and group.
  • Enhance the quality and effectiveness of data and information moving it from a perceived assessment of "inaccurate" across the Group, increasing information awareness and ownership across the divisions and Engineered Materials group.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise IT, Group leadership, HPTs, and users to identify opportunities and ensure information is both used and exploited effectively, efficiently and legally across the organization. Ensures that appropriate data rules, calculations and standards are applied.
  • Builds and maintain a development backlog to support the improvement of Data systems and reporting across the group. Work with Engineered Materials Group, Divisional Leadership, and HPTs to prioritize and ensure business value is gained from each change, challenging as appropriate.
  • Regularly interacts with the Group Exec, Sites and Divisional leadership teams to communicate, plan and land the business process changes, data ownership capability and best practices as new data solutions and ways of working are rolled out across the group.
  • Supports data integration for accelerated SAP implementations
  • Collaborates with corporate data analytics team to ensure divisions are using existing or new corporate data marts and integrating them into group reporting.
  • Develop and lead the EMG IT Program and Project management Office. Develop process and Governess to ensure that all IT Divisions are following

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other closely related field. Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through eight or more years of increasingly responsible experience including five years in a leadership role.

  • Knowledge of appropriate Data driven regulatory requirements (i.e. DFARs, Data Privacy and GDPR)
  • Ability to identify and create guidelines, policies and supporting training requirements needed to ensure consistency in data management and ownership
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Business Intelligence technologies, such as Business Warehouse and Data Lake technologies
  • Knowledge of Data Analytics approaches and Data Science techniques and how they can be used to drive value for the business
  • Knowledge of Data Visualization and the best ways to present data to provide insight and actions for business users
