The Manager of Subscription Strategy & Operations will play a key role in driving subscription growth across Sony's Global Podcast Division, supporting a growing slate of original series. Leveraging a deep understanding of subscription funnels, this role will focus on acquiring and retaining subscribers across multiple shows and distribution platforms. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategy and Business Development - Podcasts, this position will be instrumental in shaping and expanding the division's subscription and direct-to-consumer revenue streams. The individual in this role will develop strategic initiatives to grow and retain subscriber bases, collaborating across internal teams (marketing, business development, finance, research & insights, and production) to bring these initiatives to life. The ideal candidate is a podcast enthusiast and/or digital content expert with a passion for understanding audiences-what motivates them, how they behave, and what they value. They are a creative, outside-the-box thinker with hands-on experience launching and scaling new business initiatives - subscription experience is a plus. This individual excels at synthesizing data and consumer insights to inform strategy, working cross-functionally to execute projects, staying organized and balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, comfort with experimentation, and a knack for turning innovative ideas into actionable results to grow this exciting business vertical.
