OpenText is looking for a Customer Care Specialist to join our Best in Class Customer Care team. The Customer Care specialist position bring you in on the ground floor of our Sales Operations team, on of the most dynamic and visible points in a successful, rapidly growing company. You'll be taking and making OpenText customer calls, working with different departments and functional areas, and all with the goal of creating a positive experience for customers.

Your Impact:

  • Be Phenomenal while providing support to OpenText's internal sales teams and external customers.
  • Multi-tasking with exceptional energy, focus, and patience. You'll find that this experience teaches the most fundamental tenet of business: How to treat customers well and keep them for the long term.
  • Manage telephone, instant messaging and ticket queues so that client issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
  • Develop a functional and technical understanding of OpenText products with a working knowledge of complementary products and services.

What you need to succeed:

  • Ideal candidate will have a college degree and/or technical certification, or equivalent
  • Meaningful sales operations or end-user support experience is a plus
  • We really want to see a passion for technology
  • Knowledge of Office 365
  • Familiarity with security and compliance solutions
  • You've got to get along well with others. We mean it. We've carefully assembled a team of people who are here because they want to be, they want to develop productive working relationships with the people on the team. We intend to keep it that way.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Must be detailed in documenting information and practice good follow-through techniques
  • Work Hours: -The Sales Department normally takes calls between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Must be flexible to work various shifts as needed - including remote weekend/holiday on-call availability. This position includes periods of telephone-intensive work and may require sitting for long periods of time. During emergency situations, i.e. natural disasters this position will be expected to work remotely and perform all duties from remote location.
