Job Summary
TDIndustries is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Communications Coordinator to lead internal communications efforts that reinforce our strong culture, inspire employee retention, and support our vision of Building Together, Growing Together. This role plays a key part in fostering engagement, celebrating our employees, and strengthening our commitment to customers, careers and communities. The ideal candidate is a proactive and creative thinker with strong organizational and time management skills. This collaborative role is focused on celebrating and building on TD's servant leadership culture through impactful communication strategies.
Essential Duties
Content Creation & Internal Communications: Write, edit, and publish compelling content for the company intranet, texting platform, email newsletters, and other internal communication channels.
- Employee Recognition & Milestones: Manage and support TD's milestone anniversaries program, ensuring employees feel valued and celebrated for their contributions.
- Storytelling & Brand Advocacy: Identify and share employee stories that highlight TDIndustries' culture, achievements, and impact through internal and external communications.
- Partner Resource Groups (PRGs): Collaborate with PRG leaders to develop communication strategies and content that enhance participation and engagement.
- Community Engagement & Volunteerism: Support and promote company-wide community involvement initiatives, corporate social responsibility efforts, and volunteer opportunities.
- Event Communications: Assist in planning, promoting, and executing internal events that foster team spirit and reinforce TD's values.
- Collaboration & Strategy: Partner with HR, leadership, and marketing teams to align messaging with business goals and employee engagement strategies.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or employee engagement.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a strong ability to convey messages effectively.
- Experience managing intranet content, email newsletters, and corporate communication platforms.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships across all levels of an organization.
- Passion for fostering a positive workplace culture and driving employee engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the construction, mechanical, or plumbing industry.
- Familiarity with employee engagement software and internal communications tools.
- Knowledge of event planning and execution.
- Experience working with employee resource groups or corporate volunteer programs.
