Human Resources Generalist

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for our Human Resources team.

This individual will be responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise. They will assist in providing a wide range of HR support and advice. The successful candidate will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management.

This position reports to HR Director. This role is onsite and is based in New Braunfels, TX. The pay range for this position is $65K to $80K.

Responsibilities:



  • Implement and administer employee policies.
  • Protects the interest of the company and employees in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations.
  • Provide high-quality advice and service to management on employee relations and performance management issues
  • Prepares and analyses reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department and company.
  • Identify ways to improve policies and procedures
  • Be a liaison with the Talent Acquisition team to migrate employees from candidates to new hires.
  • Generate Offer Letters.
  • Be an integral part of onboarding new employees in all the company systems.
  • Enroll employees in company benefits as needed.
  • Maintain/update employee data in HRIS.
  • Files and maintains employment records for future references.
  • Process payroll/rate changes as needed.
  • Be a part of mergers & acquisitions programs including data entry of new employees, benefits enrollment, and travel to satellite locations.
  • Assists HR department with other human resources areas such as benefits administration, employee relations, activities planning, and employee customer service.
  • Update our Employee Handbook as needed.
  • Offboarding of employees from systems and communicate such to necessary 3rd party administrators.
  • Support the automated performance management process.
  • Prepare termination and severance letters
  • Use your great interpersonal skills and approachability to have strong open communication with employees at all levels in the company.
  • Support our many training initiatives from planning & coordination to at times facilitating training sessions.


Basic Requirements:



  • Very strong analytical skills with excellent proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems (preferably ADP)
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Sociology, or another related field.
  • Great personality and orientation towards serving customers.
  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal labor laws preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation


Preferred Requirements:



  • Experience in Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration preferred.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred, not required.
