The Key Account Manager II - Pleated Bags role will be supporting our Torit Aftermarket business focused on selling pleated bags. The position is ideal for a self-starter with previous industrial dust collection sales experience. This is a remote sales role, but ideally candidates will reside in and have ability to cover a territory in Western or Midwest area of the United States.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage all sales responsibilities in assigned territories to optimize sales and profits consistent with business objectives.

  • Establish, cultivate, and enhance customer relationships; leverage relationships to maintain and grow the business.

  • Act as primary contact for assigned accounts, which includes traveling to customer locations to solidify relationships, determining specific customer needs, and learning application and business requirements.

  • Formulate and implement long/short range sales, marketing, product, promotion and pricing strategies and plans for assigned customers.

  • Initiate, participate in, and direct presentations, negotiations, business proposals, product demonstrations, and other communications designed to drive sales.

  • Develop and utilize sound technical understanding of company products, technologies, and capabilities to aid in the selling process and project management.

  • Develop and maintain market share information and competitive data for assigned customers.

  • Influence and align the efforts of customer support personnel and others to achieve business objectives.

  • Leverage local and global company resources including inside sales, engineering, field service, marketing, manufacturing, and management to pursue sales opportunities and provide superior customer support.

  • Evaluate projects for strategic fit, potential risk, financial feasibility, technical capability, and manufacturability, and presents viable opportunities to management for final project approval.

TRAVEL: Up to 25-30%, dependent on business needs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of sales experience

  • HIgh School diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior working experience in dust collection.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or technical field.

  • Strong mechanical/technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies through product-driven training programs.

  • Consistent achievement of sales goals and forecasts.

  • Strategic planning and tactical implementation skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to use good public relations skills, including having a professional impact and being able to present to groups or individuals in a persuasive manner.

Annual Salary Range : $93,800 - $122,000.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance. Based on work location, geographic adjustment is included.

This position is eligible for sales incentive or commission plan, based on sales targets under company policy.
