Advocacy
* In collaboration with the Senior Director of
CAPS and Fontaine, Assistant Director of Behavioral Health Psychology and Lead Advocate
RSVP Coordinator provide information, and guidance to victims/survivors of sexual harassment, sexual assault, and interpersonal violence (including dating/domestic violence and stalking) about their rights, options and available resources, and make appropriate referrals to on-campus/local resources and/or the Title IX Coordinator to best support
UGA students through healing, safety, and/or reporting processes.
* Serve as a member of the
SARC team, attending monthly meetings for communication and ongoing professional development.
* Maintain collaborative relationships with on and off campus partners to facilitate effective and caring referrals. |

Program Support
* Assist in the development of the Peer Advocacy program.
* Co-advise Peer Educators through group supervision.
* Attend Peer Advocacy meetings, including cohort meetings, supervision group meetings, and leadership team meetings.
* Provide guidance to individual Peer Advocates with developing appropriate and evidence-based program plans, and learning outcomes, and evaluations for their projects and outreach events to lead for their peers.
* Assist in the hiring, training, ongoing professional development, progress documentation, and evaluation of a team of Peer Advocates. |

RSVP Initiatives
* Assist with the development, implementation, and assessment of efforts to prevent sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, and stalking including passive campaigns, awareness activities, and primary prevention workshops and trainings.
* Research best practices, implementation efforts, and sustainability practices for prevention education strategies.
* Support the mission of the
RSVP through attending relevant meetings, events, outreach opportunities, campus committees, relationship-building efforts, and service opportunities on occasion. |

Project Related to Educational Program
* Each school semester, the intern will be required to work with their supervisor on identifying and completing one independent project related to their educational program and/or career goals in any area of program development, assessment, or services. This project will be used to apply the skills learned in the internship to their educational program. |
