JOB DESCRIPTION -

CNC MACHINIST 3:

To operate turning centers Miyano BNE, Miyano BNX, Mori Seiki ZL-15 with IEMCA & FMB bar feeders (EIA / G&M-code program).

New parts: Independently build tools, program, create a detailed set up sheet document for other operators to be able to set up & manufacture parts. Manufacture parts including deburring, inspecting & gaging parts from inspection sheet & job traveler instructions.

Current parts: Build tools, set up & manufacture parts per set up sheet instructions. Manufacture parts including deburring, inspecting & gaging parts from inspection sheet & job traveler instructions. Read & revise programs & update set up sheet documents as needed.

Be able to operate other equipment necessary to maintain production.

Must have an understanding of metal cutting with drills, turning & facing tools, boring bars & other cutting tools.
