Position Summary/Overview

The CFL Accounts & Global Program Coordinator is a vital member of the Program Operations team, responsible for supporting pre-departure processes such as billing, registration, and participant support. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Stamford, CT, requiring two in-office days per week. The position may also involve travel - only on rare occasions - and evening or weekend availability during peak program periods. This role reports directly to the Director of Customized Faculty Programs.

Salary: $50,000-$54,000, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities



  • Billing & Financial Support
  • Monitor and follow up on student and institutional payments
  • Handle financial aid, payment, and refund inquiries
  • Generate invoices, process refunds, and handle participant account adjustments


  • Program Registration + Advising
  • Set up customized faculty-led programs in the system


  • Facilitate participant registration and data collection
  • Draft key materials (e.g., visa letters, marketing content)
  • Respond to pre-departure questions from students, faculty, and advisors


  • General Program Operations Support
  • Trouble-shoot technical issues related to payment and AIFS portals.
  • Assist with data tracking and reporting
  • Provide 24/7 emergency support on a rotating basis
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and support additional tasks as assigned


Expectations for the Role



  • 30 Days: Understand team structure and processes
  • 60 Days: Complete training and gain program knowledge
  • 90 Days: Begin managing own program portfolio
  • 6 Months: Demonstrate workflow efficiency and database mastery
  • 1 Year: Fully integrated and confident in responsibilities


Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or client-facing roles
  • Experience in higher education or international environments preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Experience managing financial transactions (e.g., payments, refunds)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bonus: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), Canva, or similar tools
