This position will be partially based in the following office location:

Manchester, NH

For hybrid roles, employees must be able to commute to Manchester, NH on a regular basis.

The opportunity

The Student Accounts/Payment Processing Coordinator is responsible for the daily reconciliation of all University-wide payment sources. Work is completed in multiple systems, using multiple reporting tools. Due to the nature of the work, you may be involved in audits related to cash management.

This is a Dual-Place position(#LI-Remote) and will report to the Associate Director of Payment Processing.

In this Role:

  • You will perform cash balancing from multiple sources, including ecommerce, departmental deposits, cash, and check.
  • You will maintain record-keeping of all cash and reconciliation activities.
  • You will provide customer service for internal customers within the University.
  • You will research balancing errors and account discrepancies with and for the Accounting Office.
  • You will understand and act following SNHU culture and core values in all actions and interactions.
  • You will work as a member of a team with a willingness to support the success of the team.
  • You will take on new or modified activities as changes impact job requirements and assigned tasks.
  • You will have other responsibilities as assigned.

What we're Looking For:

  • HSD/GED and 1+ years of experience in cash handling, payment posting, reconciliations, accounting or similar related experience
  • Critical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (data entry and maintaining worksheets) and proficiency in learning new systems

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $15.41 - $24.67. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $17.03 - $23.05.
