JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing direction and leadership to designated staff. Develop and maintain product integrity strategies and oversee engineering initiatives. Coordinate and collaborate with Construction, Dispatch, Warehouse, Technical Operations and Care operations to ensure optimal customer experience. Responsible for developing capital budgets, purchasing, staff development, managing the support of existing products and the deployment of new products.

WHAT OUR SENIOR MANAGERS ENJOY MOST

  • Manage engineering staff in design, implementation, maintenance, enhancement, and troubleshooting of product delivery platforms.
  • Provide overall direction for engineering support regarding new and existing technologies and operating standards.
  • Consult with managers on technical operations, strategic planning, network operations, and new product development.
  • Ensure compliance with company engineering standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain good relations with local utilities, vendors, contractors, and government agencies.
  • Guide capital budget process to ensure cost-effective, timely, and on-budget project completion.
  • Provide quality assurance support for new/existing technologies and TQA standards.
  • Develop a front-line leadership team and assist in their development to drive a high-performance culture.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualiications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
    Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E)
  • Work Experience: 3+ year Project Management work experience.
    3+ years of related leadership experience.
    7+ years of Engineering HFC and Networking experience.
  • Skills: Knowledge of company products and services. Knowledge of Electronic theory, Federal Communications Commission regulations and Fiber Optic theory.

Abilities:

  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner.
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
  • Ability to supervise, coach and motivate others to drive results.
  • Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)

Moderate Travel Required

The base pay for this position generally is between $110,800.00 and $196,400.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
