Position offers a starting salary range of $53,000 - $68,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Manage suppliers to contracted terms and resolve any discrepancies for pricing agreements and terms

  • Maintain and ensure timely updates of supplier contracts in Procure system

  • Detailed data mining, analysis and potential new supplier research for the department

  • Strategic Analytics: develop and support in creation, maintenance and generation of regular powertrain

  • strategic forecasts, component modeling and ad hoc simulations

  • Maintain close alignment with Purchasing Agents to ensure supplier contractual terms are implemented

  • Cross-functional alignment with both working levels and management teams, as necessary

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • BS/BA and prefer 0-2 years of relevant experience OR 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

  • Ability to analyze, organize and summarize large amounts of data into simple or key terms

  • Extensive MS Excel and MS PowerPoint experience

  • Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines

  • Ability to develop strategic analytics and communicate the analysis

  • Ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Previous experience with Daimler Procurement systems and processes (Procure)

  • Previous experience working with suppliers

  • Previous automotive experience

  • Demonstrated analytical and negotiations skills
